My fish has white spot. I have given him some treatment that I found in a petshop, but it was a week after I first noticed it. I was just wondering if there is anything else that I could do, or what the chances of him survivng are.

Your goldfish, (by the way that's a Red Cap Oranda, not Orlando) has 'ick.' The treatment usually is 'ick treament or medicine' & it turns the water blue. I've had about 80% success rate with this medicine. The 20% when it didn't work was when the fish was already so consumed with the white spots that it was almost dead anyway. It's good if you can catch this early.

I think you mean "Oranda", not "Orlando". Also, is his tank clean enough and big enough with a good filter? Is it the right temp? You need to find out what the white spot is. It could be a fungus, a bacterial infection, or something else. If you can find out what it is, you can treat it properly, if you get it done in time. Good luck!
