When I got my ears pierced, they didn't say anything about no shampoo, but it did say no water but I obviously need to shower so I was just careful. Just don't go swimming or anything like that. They also gave me a bottle of some special cleaner to rub on my ears and I think that cleans them a little. Just be careful and you'll have to go a while without lots of oils like hairspray. Hope I helped.
P.S. Make sure you don't take them out to soon because then they will close up.

Wow turtle, pierced ears what's next a tattoo? Keep them clean with a solution they should have given you and do't take the stud out for about a week. Just use a cotton swab to dab the stuff on. If you have any pain in them try some peroxide on them to kill the infection. Are you going to keep studs or maybe little hoops in them? I can't see you with dangly ones except when you're all dolled up and ready for some action. Stay cool sweetie.

That's weird, no one said anything like that to me!
I didn't avoid any of those things and nothing happened.
How long did they say to keep your eyes free of that stuff? For the full six weeks in which you have to keep the studs in? If so, that's crazy!
And did they give you some cleaning stuff in a bottle for your ears? Cause if you use that daily you should be ok!

oh my goodness... talk about being over protective...
just clean them up if you do get anything on them.
When I got my ear cartlidge pierced, the guy suggested that I use the dial antibacterial foam on it 2/3 times a day. Worked like a charm and I never had a problem out of it.

no, u dont get rid of the earing, ur in basic terms meant to spin the earing 2 situations on a regular basis whilst they are nevertheless contained in the hollow, so as that it doesnt get caught in one place and grow to be all crusty and stuff. does that make experience?

They don't make ear rubbers, but I predict a bumper potato crop this season.
