What battery life do people get from this laptop. I am finding on my 3month old laptop that I only get at most 45minutes use before low battery warning comes on. This is after battery left charging for 24 hours and seems pretty useless for a laptop. I have been on the Fujitsu website and find lots of people complaining about this.

I recommend you take legal advice on this matter. Stating that a "fault is impossible" because something was made by machine would be laughed out of court. You ARE covered both by manufacturers warranty and consumer law unless Fujitsu can prove the damage is caused my misuse. The Laptop may have appeared undamaged but if keys fall of it is clearly faulty and should be replaced under warranty

I have one as well, I think it might have been about the same amount of time before the warning, then I accidently left it plugged in for a week when I was on holiday and now the battery doesn't work at all.

I have this laptop, we get just over an hour worth of battery. Most of the time I use the laptop wired to the mains.

is it nicd or Lithium? becuase Nicds don't last as long. also if you have evrything up full brightness then yes i drains a lot quicker so turn the screen brightness down and that, it should last about 15% longer well it does on mine though its a compaq, and if the problem is with fujitsu then they should sort it and send you a new battery, though if not then really you might be best trying to find a new and better battery for it.
