I have repeatedly emailed McDonald's regarding the no breakfast after 10:30 a.m. (more like 10 a.m. in many franchises).

McDonald's should close their doors between 10:15 and 11 a.m. because in most of their franchises, you can not buy ANY food while they switch over to the lunch menu.

What really burns me is that they take your money THEN tell you that you have to wait 20 minutes (or more) for your food.

If you have the audacity to complain or ask for your money back because you either can't or don't want to wait, you are treated like a scumbag who's being completely unreasonable asshole.

The quality of their breakfast has nose-dived and it's not worth the stress of putting up with uncaring and at times nasty employees to get bad food.

I'm guessing that McDonald's doesn't sell breakfast after 10:30 because they consider 10:30 to be the afternoon. Also the make better money in the afternoon. For example, most people go to McDonald's to get a burger, not a hash brown.

I am somewhat upset that Mcdonalds has started serving breakfast at 3:00 am. I work at a club and all I want when I get off is a cheeseburger and now I can't even get one! I understand that usually drunk people go for breakfast after partying, believe me, I have had my share of nights at Huddle House, but 3:00 am is early even for those drunken nights.

Each McDonald's is different. I have been to some that don't stop until 11am, others that stop at 10am. They can't be a fast food service if they are serving both breakfast and lunch as they use the same grills and fryers for both and it would cause delays if they were trying to serve everything.

Personally I think the breakfast (well the sausage and egg mcmuffin to be specific) is the only decent thing on the menu! If it was served all day I'd go in there through choice rather than as a last resort.

It's a marketing strategy. They only serve up until 10.30am to make their range of products look 'exclusive'. This encourages more people to get in to the 'restaurant' in periods where trade is likely to be slow. If they offered it all day, there is no incentive for...a) people to come in early to help with the turnover, b)encourage people to take advantage of breakfast in the hope they will come back for lunch or dinner later and c)as I mentioned previous, to make this range of products look 'exclusive'.

If you haven't seen the movie "Falling Down" watch it.

McDonald's doesnt serve breakfast after 1030 because you can't have it your way. And if you took the measures to have it your way you really wouldn't be interested in eating it...

Because they have to stop at some time, if they stopped serving at eleven would you be asking why do Mcdonalds not sell breakfast after 11.00?

because it is tooo difficult for them to make lunch foods and breakfast foods at the same time. But if you asking why at 10:30, then i have no clue!
