when first started it seems to have less power if I take off with the motor cold. If I let it warm up to operating temp it feels to have more power. Could this be caused by excessive carbon buildup in the engine. It has 222,700 miles.

Also I recently noticed if cold the clutch seems to chatter when take off cold. It also goes away when warm. I replaced clutch 120,000 miles ago it was the second clutch since new.
I drive mostly interstate miles. Not much in town

congrats on all those miles, just goes to show, take care of your truck and it'll go forever.

Warm up your truck before you drive it, older cars and trucks don't run well cold.
