I need some kind of program for creating pictures, just like paintshop, but a high end version of some sort. LIke, adding text, pictures, and being able to save it all in one jpeg or gif file.

Adobe Photoshop, openCanvas. Photoshop is industry standard, while openCanvas leans towards artistic.
