why i always have to keep my employer happy .I mean why i have to keep low profile always?

As my numerical is no. one i always do better in my job at times it so happens that the institute is rememberd by my name only or visiters keep on coming by asking my name. which gives feeling of insecurity to my boss , instead of proud, n as a result i m out of the organisation, what should i do , by the way every new boss expects me to be a bridge between him n visitor. I join as a counsellor n work as a faculty also whenever needed.How one can be at her best as well as low in profile at the same time.what u say?

I think that you should not change your instincts. Do not get disheartened just because one of your employers did not like your attitude. Be normal and yourself, and concentrate on your job. Do not give much importance to what your boss will think, that will affect your natural behaviour and you would lose your commen sense.

If u r really good at ur work, thn keep up the good work.
if ur employer feels insecure abt himself when he is around u , then i suggest u better start planning for another job.

Or r u being plain sensitive?If u like this job a lot,
by being good at ur work, will not give u a low profile.
Im surprised that u wud even want that to happen..It opens up doors for you to other opportunities.

Try to think long term.Pple recognise you, and who knows u might land a job at their firm at a even better position with better prospectives.
