your place when you overtook the last person. This only means that you're one lap ahead of the last person. You must be really fast and the last person must be really slow

Who knows? When in the race did you overtake the last person? When in the race was the last person the last person? At the finish? Halfway? Did anyone else also overtake the last person and how did he or she do therafter? This thing is full of holes.
