1) 9^5/2 = sqrt 9 to the power of 5 = 9²\/9 = 81\/9

2)(s³t²)^4 = s¹²t^8

3)6b+4/3b=41/5
5(6b + 4) = 3b(41)
30b + 20 = 123b
30 b - 123b = -20
-93b = -20
b = 20/93

1.9^(5/2)=9^(2.5)=9^(2+.5)
={9^2}*{9^.5}=81*sq.root of 9
=81*(+ or - 3) i.e. -243 or +243.
2. s^3t^2=s^(3t*3t)=s^(9t^2).
Hence, the given expression
={s^(9t^2)}^4=s^{4*9t^2}=s^(36t+8).
3.Multiply both sides by b, to get
6b*b+(4/3)=41b/5.
Multiply both sides by 15 to get
90b^2+20=123b or
90b^2-123b+20=0. Solving,
b=123(plus or minus 89.04)*(1/180)
or b=(123+89.04)/180 or (123-89.04)/180
(correct to two decimals)
i.e. b=1.18 or 0.19

1)=3^5=243
2)s^12t^8
3) 18b^2+4=123b/5
90b^2-123b+20=0
b=0.19or =1.18
