Being a gay person is not a choice. You are born with a different set of dna when it comes to whom you will be attracted to, men, women, or both, when you actively grow into young adulthood.
Acting on it, for example, a man being sexually aroused by another man, and kissing him, IS A CHOICE.
So in fact, there are situations where a man could be gay, and never ever act on it. Does this make him NOT gay?
Of course not, he's still gay. If he acts on it, well then he chooses that action.
There are many scientific theories on this, and there is evidence from many countries in the world that have identified a gene that causes homosexuality. If I remember correctly, it is passed from mother to child; mothers genes that is.

genetic science has proven that a persons sexuality is determined by a specific combination of genes. therefore being gay is not a choice. however living a gay lifestyle or having sex with a man or a woman is a choice. i have always known that i was gay but i fell in love with a woman and married her. it was not until the marriage fell through that i persued a gay relationship.

It shouldn't matter if it's choice or not. It's a free country and we should be free to be Straight or Gay.

Left handed people write with their left hand because that is what feels natural and right for them, and gay people are sexually attracted to the same sex because that is what feels natural and right for them.
Time and again scientific studies are showing that being gay is a biological difference.
People do not choose to be gay, it is just who they are.

I don't think...I know. People are born gay.
The only "choice" WE have is to have sex or remain celibate. Straight people have the same choice.
Religious leaders have the same choice as well........^ ^.

Choice vs Born: everyone feels that being born gay means you have NO CHOICE and choosing to be gay means that you were not born gay and can CHOOSE to be straight. When you don't have sex, you choose to not have sex; when you're gay, you choose not to have sex with the opposite gender; when you're straight, you choose not to have sex with the same gender; and so on...
You were born to be who you are and to love who you want to love. You choose to love who you want to love, even if it is with John then Mary, Mary then Jane, or Adam then Steve. You were born then made decisions.
Love who you want to love; ignore the judgement of others especially the one's who believe they truly know God or can judge you as if they were God.

Homosexuality is not a choice and cannot be changed --
Research suggests that the homosexual orientation is in place very early in the life cycle, possibly even before birth. It is found in about ten percent of the population.

There are all kinds of temptations,It's like someone that steals and Say's they can't help themselves.Satin knows what weakness is in all of us and he will use that. I do think everyone has a different weakness and Battle we have to fight to stay right with God but what ever we are tempted with in this world and by worldly ways is a choice. God gave us free will.
