my ex wife recently came back from another state and we got back together. we married again she left her kids in that state cause they did'nt want to come back here. they are my step children and they are lazy and dont want to do anything or work they both dropped out of school and come between me and my wife. they wanted to stay there so they got a place to live and i payed the deposits for the utilitys now they never payed rent and got kicked out. they both quit a mcdonalds job and now they keep calling my wife wanting to come back here with us. i know my wife wants them here but i had too much trouble with them before she babies them they are 17 and 19 yrs old i see if they come here we will be apart again! they say they will change and get jobs and follow rules but they said this soo many times and they never did they sleep all day and stay up all night all they want to do is play vedio games and look up porn on the computer! what to do?

right or wrong you cant ask a mother to come between or chose between you and her kids so if you and her talk things out you need to come to a conclusion and sit them down as well.lay down some rules that you and your wife agree on for them to enter back into the house and if they cant abide by them then they will be kicked out no questions asked.start by getting jobs by a certain time.dont allow no video games in the house,and dont allow them on the computer or lock out certain sites you know they always want to be on.

I would tell them they could come back only if they paid for their own way and lived with someone else not you.Living with other people usually does not work out.

i dont know if i can help you in this. its a tough descision to make. if your step children are going to tear you and your wife apart again. i think this is up to your wife to decide because their her children. Ask her if she thinks they'll change because theres no doubt she knows them best.
