To start with can I just say that not all British people have the same attitude about calling people from other races or cultures names. Look at the criticism Ms Goody and her 'ignorant little cohorts' have received from the press in this country. I think your attitude about pale white skin colour 'not being in fashion' shows a real lack of any kind of thought and knowledge about biology although as someone who was born with 'really, really pale white skin' due to a health problem I do think that anyone who deliberately goes and tans their skin because they think it is a fashion statement are kidding themselves about how good it looks and are only fooling themselves and not anyone else. I think you will find that most British people share my attitude that we are no better or worse than any other inhabitants of this world hence the outcry in the papers and to have people bring up the subject can only help to educate the small number of people who think that that sort of behaviour is acceptable in this day and age.

Racism DOES exist in this world of ours. Sad but true. No one has the right to insult anyone else, based on any grounds, especially on the color of their skin, something that they're born with. Often when people feel threatened in their own countries, they resort to racist slurs. It'll be a long time till they realise that we're all human beings underneath it all, whatever 'color' we may be.
We are all children of God, with a life to lead, obstacles to overcome, joys and sorrows to experience. We are all equal.

The worst racists I have ever come across are Pakistanis, who seem to think that its an Allah given right to take over countries and spread the word of Islam. I don't ever remember Buddhists, Jews, Christians or any other faith blowing up innocents along with themselves,..... just to 'spread the word of Islam' and sh*g a few virgins. You lot are so thick that you really believe that crap!!!. You can't even speak English let alone make sense of the English people who have been so tolerant of you lot for too long!!!!!!!.

I didn't know Morroco even had internet, ah well, you learn something new every day. I'm convinced that question was written without the slightest hint of irony, and the only way he could get accross his point in pigeon English, was with childish racial insults.
Since when did skin colour become fashionable? You're gonna be screwed when pasty white is the new black then aren't ya fella?

Everyone has the right to think what they want, and say what they want, as long as what they say and do does not directly interfere with another person's life.
With that in mind, yeah, British people can be racist. Anyone can be racist. I've seen racism from people in Southeast Asia. Does it offend me? Well, it used to, but I don't care any more because it's not my business.

Your question doesn't make sense - exactly what question are you asking here. Are we talking about racism and if so, towards who or, are we debating whether having a tan or being pale is fashionable or not?
