I am going to visit him tommorow in the hospital, I am just not sure at all what to say.... He is a good friend.. Its just that that is the worst kind of injury.. I have no idea what to say!

Just be there for him and let him know you care. Ask him if he wants anything taken care of..errands to do and such things. Take him in some of his favourite reading material and some of his favourite music.
If he wants to speak about his injury then he will in time.
Glad you are going to visit him, hospitals for the most part are either a) scary to be in or b) boring :(

There is no right words you can say. Be his friend, once you understand the extent of the injury try to read up on it.

Follow your friends lead and try to respect that this has got to be painful, confusing, frightening and more.

Let him know that this is not the end of the world, they have made incedible advances in surgical methods that can help to rebuild the area once he has healed.

A penis does not make a man, any more then breasts make a woman. Most of all he needs his friends to support him now. It sounds like you are on the right path. Good luck to you and your friend. I hope that the damage was minimal and recovery is fast.

its not same with a woman losing her brests , becouse although it is an important part of female body; it is not as critical as penis.

if there's any serious damage he'll definitelly need more help than you can give or imagine.make sure he gets professional help about this, and make absolutely sure he doesnt feel isolated in any ways.

good luck :(

if there is any serious damage he'll probably feel that he is not a man anymore, cant offer anything so cant have relationships or cant be welcomed among other people.this is probably much more serious than i can describe;i'm sorry for your friend and i'm sure

Just BE there. If he's up to it; joke around with him. Be yourself. Injuries are no fun, but friends & family help take the edge off it.
If he needs to talk, you listen. Be honest, but compassionate in how you answer him.
You may try talking to one of his Nurses beforehand; to get an idea of his condition.

I don't have any ideas, sorry. I've come back to this ques. 4 times, and I still can't think of anything. I'm sure you'll be able to think of something when the time comes.
