There are a mulltitude of solutions for this these days but the easiest, cheapest solutions I have found are using the router to set site blocking, setting a password in the browser and setting the security in the same tools section or, what I think will be the easiest and most fool proof method of complete cotrol at no cost...
I did some research on this a while back because my young niece and nephew were going to sites that they were not supposed to go to and I found this FREE application very easy, comprehensive and secure - crawler parental control.

It is a beta but I have not had any problems with it. It is great becaue you can set the access times for the computer for each user if you want and block sites and retain full control. It was pretty easy to figure out too.

I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. The best porn blocker software is Porn Sites Blocker, it's very light and it's the only porn blocker software with a 100% detection rate. Download the software here: http://www.pornsitesblocker.com you have a 60 day free trial. It's a must if you want to protect your family!
We all know computers can be such a positive tool in our children's lives, but they can also be our children's worst enemy.

TrendMicro maker of PC-Cillian, McFee, Norton, Zonelabs security suites all have some kind of parental control to lockout adult content. I also heard of a K9 program from my local computer software guru. Also the program known as AOL the dialup internet based operating system that fakes being an Interntet Service Provider also has a parental control as well you might want to check out the software at http://www.magnisiummedia.com be bewarned the download speed stank when I downloaded a program from them good luck in your search...

that is a worthy cause.. but, as long as there are those who participate in viewing, buying, making.. etc. it is nearly impossible, unless it became tighter in laws. But, that isn't about to fully happen. I can't even get the email providers to stop the stuff i get, and don't know how they got my address.. i hate it! You don't know who to trust anymore.. Minors shouldn't have access, but some parents have in their home.. My motto is "If it isn't fit for my kids, it isn't fit for me or adults either".. we are suppose to be their examples.. ! the message is WAIT till you get older , of age... etc. and you can do all these "dirty" degrading things.. or use cigarettes, drink etc.. cause cancer.. and drive , drunk.. if you don't get caught.. ONE person can make a difference though. many have changed laws.. for the good of all. It takes dedication, and a lot of getting others behind you to support, but if truly serious you might just do it... good luck!
