The word on the internet is that Vista is going to be released this month on the 30th. Pending on how new your computer is, the store you purchased it from may upgrade your operating system for free. You might have a rebate that you send in to get the new Operating systems. Your laptop might not even be able to run Vista. Check with the store you purchased your laptop from. If you are interested in selling you computer, try selling it on craigslist.org. It is comparable to eBay, but only local and no bids. Good Luck!

Hey if it runs it is in better condition than my old windows 95 version B computer hardware on it is 4.32 gig hardrive, 2.0 matorx video card, 28.8 dialup modem usrobotics network card dead unusable sound card and a tatung cd-rom read-only drive, and a 233Mhz mmx intel petium processor. The computer you are describing I would actually buy because yours works my old windows 95 computer that is now dead took 15 minutes to load a webpage on my old 14.4 kbps rated (by the phone company) connection.

Yeah, why not? Unless something is stuffed up with it. Windows Vista is mainly for Desktops and very expensive labtops that have got recomended hardware.
