Can you play for a team like Auckland ( NPC) or Blues (super 14) if your from an other country? If yep. how long to you have 2 live in NZ b4 u could get selected nd such.

I think each team is allowed a set number of players from outside the district into their team, at least that used to be the case. Overseas players can and have joined, just like some NZ players have gone to Japan and the UK to play or coach. If you believe you are good enough to try out, you should try contact the team secretary or publicity agent directly.

nah u can have as many as u want. its just that people dont usually bother cos they get same money from their own local teams. only national sides require you to be born within the country or hold a passport from its country. their might be a tax on using foreign players, as a discouragement to do so. and players have to fit under the salary cap so yer u only see it in europe where theyre willing to pay big money for good players.
