It's the nature of things. Anything that is noteworthy in history or in news are always war and violence, which is why Old Testaments of bible is mostly Jews suffering, and relative few pasages of good time enjoy by the Jews. Think about it. What grabs more attention? 50 years of peaceful living, or 5 days of carnage?

Even Bush himself is doing it, otherwise he would not have wage a war without solid evidence. He wants to make a mark in history and not willy-washy like Clinton was.

We have had dozens of countries helping us in a number of ways. Lots of countries added their own troops, some have pulled out. A lot of countries are adding their intelligence, financial aid, and networking assistance in shutting down the assets of terrorist organizations. There are really too many countries to list, but I'll give you an unsung hero of the war:

Pakistan.

They have taken it upon themselves to hunt down and kill terrorists operating in the mountains on the Afghan/Pakistan border. They've shed a lot of their own blood in the process, they've taken a lot of high ranking Al Qa'ida leaders (or killed them), they've intercepted communications, and they've got Al Qa'ida hemmed in by effectively blocking routes into Pakistan.

There was one well-publicized communication from Al Zawahiri to Zarchawi in Iraq that described the conditions Zawahiri was living in, and they were not good.

thats because of the liberal media bias and left wing extremists like pelosi. there are plenty of heroes in iraq but remember the media doesnt care about truth whats presented is what sells. there there and thank god we actually have someone in the whitehouse that doesnt subscribe to the clinton inaction of the nineties and the liberal pap of pelosi. things would be much much different. god help us if the country doesnt wake up before 2008
