Well, I'm 14 and a tom-boy. I used to have a crush on a girl two years older than me, but I guess am over that, and now we're friends. Lately, I've become quite good friends with a girl who's a year older to me. She's really nice, but am not sure if I have a crush on her or not....
Besides that, I like guys, and these two are the only instances that I've been attracted to girls, but that too, not sexually... just, you know, willing to talk to that person, or see him...

So... am a queer, or is it one of the stages of growing up...??

I think its very likely. I am gay and when I was 14/15 is when I started to realize. I went through the exact same expereiences you are describing. I always felt I had "crushes" on girls but I would never admit it or follow through with it. I always had a strong urge to be friends with them and be close. It wasn't until years later (I am 25 now) and I looked back that I realized it was really a sexual attraction.

I'd say you are YOU.

There is no need to label yourself at 14. You are learning more about yourself, your sexuality, your likes and dislikes in the world.

The worst thing you can do is feel forced to label yourself. Gay, straight, bi, lesbian. There's no point to it my dear, except to stress yourself out and feel categorized.

Take your time, explore your feelings. It is ABSOLUTELY normal to have these mixed feelings at your age.

Talk to friends that you can trust about your feelings, you'd be surprised at how many of them have had the same thoughts.

There are great resources online and in books that you can learn more about yourself.

But again, you are YOU. You are not queer, or gay, or straight.

You are a young adult trying to find your place in the world. And you are beautiful no matter what you end up deciding to live as.

Best of luck to you!

You could be bi.....if you like guys, than you aren't gay, but you said that you aren't sexually attracted to girls. You could be pansexual towards girls (being romantically attracted without a necessary sexual attraction) while straight, or you could simply be straight and simply have isolated incidents. See if you really can 'love' girls and not just have crushes on them. If you can, you either are straight/pansexual towards girls or bisexual, depending on whether or not you have a sexual attraction to them.

No, you're not. It's too early to tell.

If you like guys, I think you'll end up being straight.

Between the ages of 11 and 14, it's normal for girls to be a bit confused about this.

Don't sweat it. no matter what you turn out to be, you're cool.

Just be yourself.

It's a perfectly normal part of growing up but anyway your sexuality is nobody's business but your own, and I suppose any partners you might choose.

Don't worry about it. You will know when you are in love -- if it is with a girl or guy, it doesn't matter.
