.ISO is a disk archive copy. There are 2 ways to load this up. 1. You can get a CD and burn it using Nero or Roxio. 2. The easier way is to get a Virtual Disk Maker like ALCOHOL 120% and install then you can mount this .iso file to the Virtual Drive, You can do this from inside the Virtual Disk Making Software, and its work like you burned it into a cd but only its still Virual.

What you need is known as a virtual drive program. This program type is known for gaming purposes, copying of the iso image file to the harddrive and being read in a disk drive that is not actually a hardware component. This allows the cd files to run the game without the original cd in the hardware drive installed in the system. I used to use Virtualcd v6 (v6=version 6) and it would read my game disk without the disk in my system as the *.iso file is what data cd's preferred method of information storage. you can try the program called clonecd.exe you can find it in a web search. It will after you install it have a virtual drive that should be able to mount your *.iso files into it then allow you to browse the contents of your file bewarned it has a 15-30 day trial use then will cost to continue useing it. I found it to be worth the while on my old windows 95 system.

An iso file is an image file - not the same as a zip. You will need a CD/DVD creation application that supports the iso format. What you do is get a disk and burn it with this application

Here is a free one that will extrat the iso file and put it on CD:

An ISO file is not really a zip file, its a format to store the image of a CD in one file on your hard disk.

You will need to use something like roxio to do this. I'm not sure of the exact steps and I know roxio is not free. There is however a power tool that you can download to do this.

You can unzip it but thats not what its for. Try a free program to burn it to disk like CD Burner XP. To unzip it use Winace.

Open a burning program such as Nero, choose 'Recorder', then 'Burn Image...' a window will appear, where you can choose to burn .nrg, .iso, .cue, .img. straight to cd.
