No. Never. I hover. If I'm in a situation where I would be forced to sit down, if you know what I mean, I would put paper round the seat first.
Apart from the fact that you don't know who's used it before, there are incidents of people spreading superglue on toilet seats.

I think Madonna was a bit OTT though....insisting on a new toilet seat every day in her dressing-room on a recent tour. Silly madam.

Absolutely not. I put more toilet paper on the seat than I ever use on myself when I'm done!

If I could fly, I'd hover over the bowl.

Yuck!!!! No way.

"The outside of a sanitary napkin receptacle is the most contaminated hot spot in the ladies room."

"Studies show that viruses and several families of potentially harmful bacteria can indeed exist on public restroom surfaces."

Medical testing of public restrooms has documented the fact that pathogenic agents are found on almost all toilets. The five most common bacteria families found and the illnesses they can cause are: Psudomoadaciae (urinary tract infection, blood poisoning), Streptococcaceae (epidemic sore throat, brocho-pneumonia), Coryneforn (diptheria, hepatitis), Micrococcaceae (boils/pimples, pus infections), and Enterobacteriaceae (kidney infections, typhoid/paratyphoid fever).

The U.S. Centre for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 40 Million Americans get sick from hand-borne bacteria each year - and 80,000 people die !

Bacteria and viruses can multiply up to twofold every 20 minutes.

"Germs, especially fecal bacteria, can also be shot into the air when a toilet flushes. One study showed that bacteria released into the air in this way can settle on surfaces throughout the bathroom and in great enough concentrations to spread disease."

The aerosol cloud of a flushed toilet can spread up to 5 feet from the fixture, transporting infectious fecal-borne bacteria onto many washroom surfaces.

"Public restrooms are the perfect place for bacteria to thrive because these facilities are designed to dispose of large volumes of human waste, which consists of up to 30% bacteria."

No. When I was a new born, my mother tried to drown me in the womens bathroom at Subway. Ever since then I have never been able to even go into a public bathroom. Or Subway for that matter.

Yes. I find using the toilet very comforting. I relax. Sometimes I fall asleep. If it wasn't for the knocking, I'd be there for hours.
