All 6 crew-members including Kalpana Chawla died in the crash of discovery while it was on its way back. I just wanted to know what happened to their dead bodies? Were they ever recovered? If not what happened? What will happen to the bodies if they were in space? Will they decompose or remain as it is??

bodies will not decompose in vacuum. thats why there is no life floating around in space. ..

everything that orbits this planet (including the moon) will eventually fall back into the planet. something the size of a body will burn up completely in the atmosphere.

OK....Mr. Ashish...First of all it was COLUMBIA and not Discovery which disintegrated while entering the earth atmosphere....Secondly there were 7 astronauts including Kalpana Chawla...
Most of the space shuttle parts were found as it had already entered the atmosphere.
