i mean like find a cure for all diseases.

Obviously NO! NEVER! The only way to be illness free, a.k.a. perfect because we have NO defect; is 2 B dead because everybody is unique and what hurts you, might be good for other(s)... It's supposed that medicine's main goal is to heal or cure ALL diseases but the real fact is that most medics try for their patients NOT to be 100% healthy or it will make their own "suicide" because there would be NOTHING to cure. It's a VERY long and complex answer that takes at least a 2 week debate.

No. Each desies that we cure now will mutate to reject the cure or vaccine until it no longer works and a new cure must be made. Its Evolution. It also helps keep things in balance. Thats why so many of the things we have already cured have come back stronger than ever.

no, people were not meant to live forever. even if they do, every now and again someone will just start a war to weed out the gene pool a little.

Personally I believe that if they do, they won't tell everything they know, because if they did, there would be no need for them. There are loopholes in all aspects of life.
