I believe only one son of a Senator (Johnson from South Dakota?) is over there and I'm pretty certain no more than 2 or 3 others even have family in the military. Hell, hardly any of the current batch have even spent a day in uniform much less their kids. Seems like another case of "Do as I say,not as I do!" if you ask me.

there is not any longer something sinister and in case you bothered to do any examine you will possibly understand what it relatively is all approximately. attempt doing a google seek for the Iraq conflict and don't pass to any loopy web content. pass to the congressional records and learn the relatively bill which licensed the conflict. pass to the UN internet site and examine the 14-sixteen resolutions that have been violated/disregarded by using the Iraqi government. And in case you relatively don't understand something google "chemical rounds in Iraq" and "350 lots of yellow cake uranium in Iraq". i think of what you will study is which you relatively don't understand something. That there became out to no longer be an lively WMD software did no longer recommend there have been no WMD nor does it recommend it replaced right into a "smokescreen" or that anybody lied. It potential the intelligence of each and every intelligence employer interior the international have been given it incorrect.

Probably precious few of them. Like John Kerry said, if you don't study and get an education, you get stuck in Iraq. Pretty well sums up how the upper class/politicians feel about their own kids serving their country. The Army has a new television ad showing Mom & Pop on the farm, and how they've done all they can so its' time to send their sons and daughters to the Army to be made all they can be, or some such drek. I don't know, that ad offends me because I know the Army will never run a similar ad showing Mom & Pop Moneybags and telling them to send THEIR kids to the Army rather than Harvard or Princeton. Like it's ok to send the kids of middle/lower class families to war, but they wouldnt' even dream of attempting to recruit the upper crust's sons and daughters.

I'm not sure on the numbers, but one thing that people don't get is that we have the freedom to make choices here. We don't send the poor children to war...they enlist and go willingly. Where we are in life is a DIRECT effect of the choices we make, and have made. To deduce otherwise would mean that those who do what we don't agree with are incapable of making their own decisions and are victims. Total crap. One thing you can count on from me, however, is this...if there is a draft...I will enlist.

Not enough--but the ones that are there that have parents in the Gov't have a strong voice in Congress. Currenty, only one in every two hundred households in America has a family member in the Service. The Human sacrifice and personal loss tragedy's are vastly underreported by our Coporate owned Mass Media outlets making the Occupation's overall atrociousness minimal to most of us. Kudo's tothe Prince!!

That would be the choice of the children whether they enllist or not. Just because the parent is in congress does not mean they have to go. Why are you asking? Afraid you might have to go?

You mean Grandchildren don't you? Most of them are old folks, And there is no many children either and if they are the sons and daughters, they enlist and get good positions for enterprising ventures in the military for the most part, they are not expendable like the rest of us grunts. But for the ones who have enlisted God protect them and bless them for their bravery.

However many of their children enlisted.

This country has no draft, there's no picking and choosing. The people who serve, they volunteered. The politicians don't decide which companies deploy overseas.
