Im using my ipod on my farthers laptop.how do i edit my music files without messing with his ipod files?

Basically,when ifor example delete music from my ipod on itunes,it also deletes my farthers ipod tunes when he next logs into itunes with his ipod.Please help.

you go to make a new i tune folder with your id may be it helps otherwise sooner ipod is connected it opens up its ipod folder and get updated itself

cuz maybe you're syncing the same songs. choose the option to manually sync ipod. then you won't have that problem. try unchecking the songs too. maybe that'll help.
