Rory Emerald is the pseudonym of Julian Lee Hobbs (born in 1968), a professional hoaxster and artist. Among his many stunts and pranks, he has claimed to be the romantic interest of movie star Elizabeth Taylor (in 1990) and to be married to the daughter of the late Peter Sellers, Victoria Sellers. He has also placed announcements in newspapers about supposedly found objects.

he is the purple caterpillar who keeps telling me to go on and eat my rice krispies...they are fine and not really talking to me like i think they are...the purple caterpillar helps me out alot like that.
