Why would you be scared? They're normal people, they just have paler skin.. nothing wrong with that. o_O; - Although the albino character in The Da Vinci Code, Silas I think was his name, was pretty creepy how he loved to endure pain. That doesn't mean that all albino people are like that. At all. Be a little more open-minded, and don't take in everything you see in pop-culture and expect the entirety of what you see to be the same.

I don't think it's a disease, silly.
You can't "catch" albinism, like you catch a cold or the flu. It's caused by a person's genes. You might have learned about genes in science class
Have you ever heard the word albino? It's a word that's sometimes used to describe a condition called albinism (say: al-buh-nih-zum). Humans, animals, and even plants can have this condition, which means that the person, animal, or plant doesn't have the usual amount of pigment, or color. You might know that albinism causes a kind of pale appearance. But what exactly causes albinism?

To understand albinism, you need to first know about melanin (say: mel-uh-nin). Melanin is a chemical in our bodies that colors our skin, eyes, and hair. It's made by melanocytes (say: muh-lah-nuh-sytes), which are cells found in the bottom layer of your skin.

Albino people are that way because of a genetic disorder. You cant catch it it is inherited. If you read the book "Holy Blood - Holy Grail" the movie would make a lot more sense to you or anyone. The Movie and its Book Is Fiction - Holy Blood -Holy Grail is not!

Duh Vinci Code is a movie that $hits on the Catholic Church|

Dan Brown Fudge produced it|

If people could stop thinking like trained seals, and start acting rational for a change, then they could see that the Albino symbolizes the movie itself|

You can say 666, but 555 is the more appropriate number to describe Duhhh Vinci Code!

It's not that common, but it does occur. It's not a disease, it's a lack of pigment, that's all. Like a black person being really dark, they are a white person being really white. Or let's say caucasian to be safe.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure it's a genetic malady where a person is born without melanin. Hypomelanosis I think it's called. I don't think it's anything you can acquire if you weren't born with it.

being albino isnt catching. it is genetic- very uncommon. it means a person has no melanin- colouring in skin or hair, like a white rabbit with red eyes. I can understand your fear, sometimes we fear what is unusual to us.
