I have no blueprint. Can this logically be determined without demolition first.

yes, to a degree
you need to find what diretion your rafters are running and then determine wheter the wall you want to take out runs with the rafters(not load bearing) or across them(good chance it is bearing some of the load). This is no garantee, but will give you some place to start.
If the wall your looking to remove is one of many that run that direction, the better the chance of less load on that wall. bottom line is to know the lay out and use caution. I have removed load bearing walls to open a room, but first built a header or support beam to tke the load.

Also look under the House through the crawl space. If you have one. Load bearing walls must have a foundation or pylons.

Try going into the attic and see if any of your framing is sitting on top of the wall you want to remove. If it is, then it's a load bearing wall.

What type of house? Ranch? Pull the sheetrock rock off to check. Look for double joists, headers...
