Pontiac Firebird and the exspensive version the Trans AM
the twin is the
Chevorlet Camaro and the exspensive version the Z28
Normally the Z28 and the Trans Am just are upgraded versions of their base cars. With Option packages tossed in.

The Trans Am was a higher performance version of the humbler Firebird, and was named after the Sports Car Club of America's race series of the same name (in which ironically the Trans Am did quite poorly). The main differences between the Firebird and the Trans Am visually were the added spoilers front and rear, plus the generally more garish paint jobs (such as the white with blue stripe version this model represents).
Take care.

They are the same car, but the Trans Am is the top of the line performance model. The Trans-Am has the bigger more horsepower engine, better tires, dual exhaust power everything and T-Tops.

muscle.
They are the same but the trans-am is more of the girly luxury car with power windows and such while the fire bird is the one with the bigger engine and not all the extras so that it can save the power for performance and speed.
out side is the same but inside is where you see the difference
