I mean back when they were popular, would you rewind them before returning them to the rental place? The last tape I rented was 1984 about two years back because blockbuster didn't have it on DVD.

I do. It doesn't take but a minute and it's courteous.

Yeah, sorry man. You can buy a VHS for around four or five dollars now, so there's really no point unless your DVD player is broken or you don't have one. However, when I watch a VHS I do tend to rewind it after watching it.

Yes I do. Remember how the tracking on video store tapes was always screwed up? Sometimes you'd have to put in a different tape for a few minutes, then put the rented tape back in to get it to work.

VHS tapes are so 10 years ago! Even DVDs are on the verge of extinction because of On Demand and digital downloads. LOL

I usually rent DVDs, sooo, I don't have to rewind them.. But, when I used to rent VHS I rewinded them.. (only because they made you pay a fine if you didn't).

We always would, but my kids is another story. I always have to double check them to see. Anymore though my kids aren't even interested in the VHS movies we have and mostly watch DVDs or regular TV.

What the hell is a VHS? Ohhh that black thing with two shallow holes in it? I think I've seen it in a history book before. Is it microwavable?

i used to but now there is no fee on it so I let my daughter watch the flick as much as she wants until i have to return it.
I still feel disrespectful when I do it.
