The Romans did trade for and developed resources for gold and tin. The exported fighting dogs and falcons. Slaves were very big commodity as well. Lots of other things as well but these were major. If you need specifics ask. I forgot to mention what was traded back. Hot water, roads, Latin, cities. Saxons. military advisers. clever pottery, wine, oh did I mention central heating? (central heating went extinct in GB shortly after the Romans left and did not return until after WW2.)

I'm not aware of a particular trading balance in that year, but since 500 BC the Phonicians had establised a tin trade with the tribes in Cornwall where it was mined. The Greek colony of Massilia (nowadays Marseille) established a land route, instead of shipping it around the dangerous Bay of Biscay and the Pillars of Hercules. Massilia was a friend and ally of Rome throughout the Punian wars, and I would guess that tin was traded to the Romans via Massilia.

I'm guessing: they took some of us as slaves, forced some in to labour for roads, they took what little gold deposits were in UK (somewhere in Wales biggish deposit), Blue John Crystal they loved (its unique.. only found in Derbyshire).... i can't think of much else.... maybe salt. In return we got some semblence of laws, and future infrastructure for running our own lands and government.

Do you mean 55BC and 54BC (first Roman invasions)?
Tin was what we had in abundance, and about the only thing they had difficulty getting elsewhere.
