Hi, I am having trouble understanding what all this torrent stuff is about. I have uTorrent and want to down load music when I find the track I click on and it says download this torrent, which I do but then my computer will not regonise it, I know I am doing something wrong but it's an age thing!!! Help please

No don't use limewire its riddled with viruses.
You're doing it partly right.
You download the torrent file from a torrent search engine such as www.torrentspy.com or www.isohunt.com (this is currently ungoing an upgrade but I find it to be the best place for torrents)
Save to a folder and then open it in a program like
http://azureus.sourceforge.net/
This will then download the actual music/movie file for you
Azureus is free and the torrent networks are safer in terms of viruses then limewire.
If you need help using azureus just drop me an email and I'll give you step by step instructions.

Stop trying to download music, that is an old way of getting viruses trojans and cloging up your hardrive. Pay 15 bucks for rhapsody and you can listen to just about any song ever made, even comedy, yeah they got videos too, legally, if you like it, by it for 89 cents or the entire CD for 8.99. You can still listen to it as much as you want as long as you have an internet connection, if you wanna burn, you gotta buy. This is not adversment, this is a recomendation, It works out verry good and quality is awesome.

Download eMule or Limewire, they are easy softwares to understand for you.

download Limewire.... limewire.com
Its easier, dont have to deal with torrants and all that.. just type in a name search and download.. that simple.

what you need to do is go to limewire.com and its simple to figure out. I have it and its free. You can download videos, music, pictures, programs, and others stuff.
