That depend on what's in it for them. I hate working in an office for this very reason. So much back-stabbing and favoritism, that it just makes life unbearable sometimes. I will never work in an office again!

Group dynamics dictate that there will be a hierarchy, and most want to avoid last place.
Last place very often has accepted it their whole lives...
Especially in the office wrold, I find that no one really left high school. Does that mean me, too?
