i cant stand books. i feel that books like aldous huxley's brave new world. they create this paranoia. same with eric blairs book 1984. the biggest problem isnt big brother, its you. I think people focus too much on externalities. People won't achieve enlightenment by being involved. ex.
from an mathamatic standpoint, you influence the society you live in more by grocery shopping then voting for president.
So why are books that deal with this paranoia so popular among the youthEspecially these new age yippies.
What do you think?

Hitler and the Nazi Party in Germany hated books too. They burned thousands in the 1930s -1940s. If you ask me what I think I will answer you -- if Brave New World (Huxley) and Nineteen Eighty-four (Orwell) had been written at that time, they too would have been dumped in a public bonfire while you and the SA/Hitler Youth boys watched and cheered.

If you hate books so much, then why are you in this category?

I know, you could write a book about how much you hate books....

People who hate books lack the intelligence to understand them.
