Listen to her, let her vent. Support any constructive action she wants to take (marriage or individual counseling, working things out with her husband), quietly discourage harmful action (revenge, bad mouthing husband to children, calling other woman). Don't be overtly rude to husband should you come into contact with him, be civil.
Most importantly, let them handle their business. The situation is fragile and other than the above, it's not appropriate to get involved.

You shouldn't say anything. Let them handle what needs to happen next. You don't want to be a force that influences anything one way or the other.
But it's a good thing that you want to be supportive, and there are things that you can do. She WILL need a friend. Be there for her. Let her know, without pressuring her in any way, that you will gladly be a sounding board or a shoulder to cry on, or some company if she needs it. Take her out. Get her out of the situation for a day or evening so that she can think clearly and have some time to desensitize. When I went through it with my ex, it drove me crazy to sit in the house and think about nothing but that. Something as simple as going to get a cup of coffee and not talk or think about what happened for a few minutes meant the world to me and made me better able to make the decisions I needed to. Doing a regular everyday thing like that may not sound like much. But getting out and witnessing that life does go on, and that the rest of the world hadn't stopped spinning after mine was destroyed-it put alot of things back in perspective and made everything feel a little less hopeless.

The wife has a RIGHT to know, especially if the cat gets out of the bag it may deter the husband from doing it again if he thinks the word will get out. I've heard some guys confess that they have a weakness for certain women. ~sexual temptation for some is hard especially when there's no deterent of other's telling their spouse. The wife deserves to know the truth instead of the torment of not getting a decent confession.

are you serious ?
if you don't know what to say, don't day anything !!
no cheating is like another - and it all depends on the circumstances one is living to help explain why/how things happen...
some experiences in life - especially the emotional ones - are journeys we have to go through alone...

If he cheated with you, run away as soon as possible. If not, please do not interfere.
