We're NOT.

Its just the fact that we CHOOSE fields of work that SHOW our artistic side alot more than our straight counterparts. How many straight gentlement go into hairdressing, clothing design, interior decorator, artist, and other "gay" jobs? In fact, there are lots of jobs where when you mention you have it, the first thing others think is: oh, they must be gay! If you watch Bravo! TV's "Runway" are you surprised when the designers are "gay?" No. But, I always am when they "turn out straight." lol

So, again, we just choose jobs whose profiles are more artistic oriented, not that we are more talented! Maybe we just don't like heavy lifting (well, not all of us, some of us do!).

I think it just appears that way, because when someone finds out that someone is gay, then their actions are more noticeable.

Second, there are a lot of talents, that if a young boy does, he is discouraged from doing because it is construed to be gay, like dancing, singing, etc.

A lot of good gay answers here.

Not only thats they are smarter and more intelligent all this, but theyve had to endure so much at the hands of bigots.
And their personality still manages to shine bright.

they aren't, they're just stereotypically expected to be. no salt on the alternative people. they are just what society is in need of. the fact that the cultivation of the arts is considered a "gay" predilection, makes me glad to be in such good company. i am talented also, but alas i am straight. so does my not being gay count against me? i hope not. it is refreshing to see a stereotypical, yet complimentary misconception about gay people in writing. thanks you made my day!

I don't believe they are more talented. I believe their talent get noticed more because of their being gay. It's the flamboyancy of the presentation, it's the particular area such as fashion design, it's the attention.

trust me, we're no better off than you folks.
Thaylen's got it right, it's probably just because we're stereotypically flamboyant and open, so that our talents are easily recognized.
ps. lol, since when was there a measurement for how gay someone is?
