politicians should be made to write their own speeches?Does it mean as much to you knowing someone else wrote The Gettysburg Address,the I Have a Dream speech,etc?

That would be nice, I suppose. But leaders are not necessarily selected for their speech writing abilities. Still, it would be nice to hear what they are thinking themselves. Then too, they could lie -- something they are quite skilled at.
I believe you'll find that Lincoln did, in fact, write the Gettysburg address. Of the five known, remaining 'originals,' the one he worked on while riding in the train has his handwritten notes. He was known as a great orator and writer - and is still considered one of the country's greatest speakers.
