If they moved then they may contact you in the future, maybe things were too stressful for them to deal with at the time and it may not be a permanent break up? But it you feel that it is truly over then I would say to move on and make new friends, cause it doesn't seem that this person valued you as a friend.

It depends on the reason. If you did something that hurt the person you could try to make it up to them. If they are just dumping you because they don't want to keep up the friendship, I would give them the cold shoulder, but that's me... and never completely trust them again. Most people are selfish.

I think it depends on the situation, if you really value that person and that person values you they will come up to you or you will go to that person, bang them on the head and sort out the problem , life is short and you dont live forever.

You take your mind off of that friendship for a while and decide why you guys aren't friends, if you should get over it or if you should make up.
