Why do some guys do this?!?

Apparently I'm a bit 'in my own world' to some, but I'm always very polite, so people have no reason to deduce I'm anything. When I'm walking, I have guys whom I know make a point to get my attention and/ or say hello, but in a very rude way. Or they'll approach me, sit with me, but say semi rude things. Like, "oh you shouldn't do this, that's bad." Or if I do see them and I ask if they want to talk or what not, they may say sarcastically, "Oh, I can walk with you?" I've done nothing for them to treat me like this, literally have always been very polite. In fact one guy who does this frequently, when I said hello to him at a party while he was with a girl, he acted as if he wanted to rush the formalities as so the girl doesn't assume, I don't know. But these same guys tend to have problem making eye contact, which I know doesn't mean the same to everyone, but still...what makes guys pay women so much attention if they just act rude/sarcastic. Some guys have no one to teach them how to act. Some are rude because the TV tells them this is "cool" or "gangsta". Forget these guys and find some one who is no scared to be themselves.
