I have met person that claims to be a Prince. I find this hard to believe this. Owns a car lot of wrecked cars to repair for sale. If i were a Prince would find this beneath me. My friends fall for this and i don,t. I feel he is tired of the States as uses people to learn customs here and wants to return to Nigeria. Any ideas about this?

He might be trying to pull a scam. Nigeria is the most corrupt nation in the world. They are famous for swindling money from unsuspecting people halfway around the world - you are living and working close to one. Be very careful.

I know Nigerians too. In Nigeria, there are lots of princes. They don't have ONE royal family but lots of different lines of aristocrcy. I got to know a prince down in Nigeria. He was in underwear, but for the white people he took out is good clothes, his chains and some ornaments (it was no real crown but something to put on the head). My mother made the mistake and sit down on his throne (a special chair, but though it has nothing that European eyes could consider mayestic, she sat down on it). But Nigerians are very cool about bad behavior as long as ist comes from strangers. They would never blame you for doing something wrong. That a woman sat on his chair would have been grave. But since she was a stranger, he just laughed.

You can believe that he's a prince. There are lots of princes.
