I had sex with this guy December 23rd and missed my period instead it was just really light bleeding and some brown discharge but the brown discharge ended now.. I took a home pregnancy test January 11th and it came back negative. Could it have been to early to tell? For people with kids, How far along were you whenever you found out that you were pregnant? Should I try taking another home test again now that it's been what will be 4 weeks on Tuesday??

Hmm i think maybe wait another week. Some pregnancy tests can tell up to five days after your missed period. But just to make sure i think you should wait a week.

I took a pregnancy test 7 days before my period and it was positive and yes i was pregnant.
You can test 19 days after the day you think you became pregnant. If you do not start your period soon and keep on getting negatives on Hpt's go to the doctor for a blood test.

I would definitely wait another week and take another test! Last year I took two test the week I missed my period, they came back negative, I waited a week and took two more, both came back positive, and now I have a baby girl.

4 weeks is enough to see if you are pregnant, the first test would have been hard for it to see if you were pregnant because you would have only been aprox 2 weeks yopur hormone levels may have been too low for the uringe test to pick up. Best thing to do is go to a doctor and get a blood test fool proof

I didn't know i was pregnant until i was 3months I still had my period for the first 3 months. Some women do. I would take a test just be sure. If its still neg. then I wouldn't worry.

I took a test at 4 weeks at it said negative I was 6 weeks when i took it again and then it said it was positive.So i would say wait a little longer.

if you thing you may be pregnant don't take a change on the home test my daughter take 8 of them they all said negative she lost twins at four 1/2 months it a hard thing to go though so just be careful.

You should have found out by now. Periods vary on circumstance. Maybe you experienced trauma. Best thing, call DOC if it has never happened before now. But Pregnant, I say NO
