It varies. It is great fun to write, and exhilarating, if I've spelled that correctly, to have someone else agree to publish it. But there will come a time when you're faced with a deadline, a blank screen, and a blank mind. Lists of ideas squirreled away don't help. At that point, professionalism, if any, has to kick in.
So yes, it is hard work, and it is great fun when it all works.

It is not easy to get paid as a writer. You will face a lot of rejection along the way, and it can be discouraging. But if you really love it and can be persistant, you can do it.
Keep your day job, though!

it is definitely a hard work. u need to apply urself and ur complete sttention to write a good book.
but for those who love writing it is fun
