Go to yahoo yellow pages and get the names and numbers of the firms in the area you would like to work for. Call and ask if you can fax over your resume and to who's attention. Most openings are filled before they are advertised, so the key is to get hold of them now. When you speak to the person ask if they have any openings at this time.
