.999 pure silver 1 ounce coins which say $1. The were minted in 2000 through 2007. I have a whole bunch of them. I have like 1000 of them. What are they worth?

Silver spot (melt value) is $12.80 per ounce, so your coins have a melt value of $12,800. Since the face value is $1 per coin, you can spend them at a store and have a face value of $1000. However, silver eagles sell for a numismatic premium above melt value, so if you were to sell your collection at auction, they would fetch about $14.00 per coin, or $14,000 total.

one ounce of silver. $32. Last week it was at $26. So you made a $24 profit in less then two weeks. Inflation. Keep them so you can afford food....or a plane ticket out of here.
