Excellent goal by Jermaine Pennant and a well taken goal by Dirk Kuyt, we started the game with the right attitude, given Chelsea's recent performances defensively - looking at the line-ups I feared their attack and said that if we could control the midfield we would hammer the blues. Fortunately Arjen Robben was injured early on and we scored after 6 minutes which must have put fear of a defeat in Chelsea's eyes because the reds were prepared to take full advantage of the return of Petr Cech. I'm suprised we didn't put any more past them. OH LIVERPOOL WE LOVE YOU!!!!!
P.S. I was born in 1983 and have just bought from the official LFC website a replica of the home shirt worn in the European Cup Final in Rome season 1983/84 - Love it! Just bought this season's home shirt aswell with Carragher 23 on back! I need advice on getting tickets for Anfield.

Absolutely second place! If the gooners can pick up the points against United tomorrow and United pick up any knock to their forward line, I think there's a serious shot at that championship. But then again, I have a rather sunny disposition...

You won't believe how relieved I am the Reds won. Seriously thought they were gonna get crushed but after that stunning first goal by Kuyt at 4', I knew we were gonna be alright.
