Basically yes, if you are planing to spend a vacation on a deserted island it is a good idea. If not, hair and teeth differ in structure, and it might work only for very young people, or with a few lucky one with no skin and hair problems. Just for your use only: 200 years ago people washed themselves and their clothes on a similar principle with wood ashes soaked in a creek water. It is not just for the sake of earning money there are so many different products, trust me.

They are not very different in any case - with a basic surfactant. If is possible - but, the companies which sell them want them segented in order to make more money
