My PREFERENCES have nothing to do with my orientation. You should know this already.
Yes, I do consider my orientation on a "scale" of sorts, more akin to the Kinsey scale though. I basically rate between a 4 and a 5.
Yes, I have had meaningful and fulfilling relationships with men, but moreso with women.
My preferences only deal with body types, hair color, intelligence, sense of humor...etc.

Yes, I consider myself on the gradient. I've always enjoyed sex with both men and women (although not at the same time). Visually, I tend to find men more attractive. But I enjoy sex with women more than with men, I think because women tend to be more sensual. I have sexual dreams with both men and women.
I've drifted some over the years. When I was pregnant and nursing (before I transitioned to male), I was married and exclusively interested in men. Then I went through a period of being exclusively interested in women. When I started taking male hormones, I became interested in men again, but women are still my preference.
Right now, I'm about a 2 on the Kinsey scale, call it 70-30.

I consider myself to be 'on a gradient'- I'm much more attracted to men and always have been. Since I'm fairly young, and even newer to open bisexuality (as in fully acknolwedging that's what I am), it seems like it will always stay that way, but I always allow for the fact that my preferences might shift.
However, I imagine for most bisexual people, their preferences, whether equally split or not, stay fairly stationary, just like those of gays and straights alike, although they might find a special person who defies their preferences (like a bisexual man who is more attracted to men nonetheless falling hard for a great woman).

I would rate my scale as: Men-80 Women-20 and that's mainly because I've been involved with a man for the long-term.
What's interesting to me is that whenever I think of truly being sexually pleased, it's women I dream and fantasize about that quench my fire!

I'm bisexual and I'd say I'm 75-25 with women being the 75. But I'm married to a wonderful man. I think women are sexier than men but you can't help who you fall in love with.

I've swayed a little over the years. I also currently define myself as genderqueer usually. As I've explored my gender identity my sexuality has changed a little each time, and not for the obvious. The attractions themselves have changed.

It's all about what you want. If you want a women one day, have a women, If you want a man the next day, have a man. As long as you practice safe sex you can be anything you want.
A quote from my mother "You can have anything your heart (your hormones in this case) desires"
