Would you pawn it off to someone or be honest about it?

Be straight with a buyer, I've sold a half a dozen, and it's never come back to haunt me that I was honest about anything. Just remember that if you choose to lie by omission, that your name, address, etc is on that title and registration. Not good to mess with something that gives out your DMV info to strangers with unknown temperment about being done dirty over a car they paid for hoping to get dependable and reliable transportation.

Besides, karma is a real kick in the teeth, or the soft touch of love. You get to roll it down the path you choose.

I walked out of a store 5 minutes after giving a stranger a dime so she could use a copier, and found a $20 and a $5 lying in my way in the parking lot before I got to my car.

Live well, be strong. If you need help getting that lemon into shape... ask for help and you'll likely get it from your friends who would rather help you than let you do yourself wrong by doing someone unsuspecting buyer foul.

I did have a car that was a lemon. I gave it to charity and took the tax write off. Why pawn it off on someone else? I could have used the money, but I would have felt too guilty. Now The animal shelter we donated it to won't leave us alone about donating stuff though..oh well. They must have thought we were rich or something...they keep expecting us to give them more money or cars. But, I am so broke, I can't afford to.

I had an absolute lemon of a car that I was trying to sell. I got a call from a guy who was interested, so I met up with him. I tried to tell him that it had a few problems but he was E-ing off his dial and was only interested in the stereo and exhaust (probably the only parts that weren't shite). He gave me 5 thousand dollars cash out of a huge wad of notes from his pocket, so I figured he'd probably have the money to fix the piece of crap anyway. I still see it around three years later.

I would be honest, to lie would mess up my karma, and my next car would be a lemon or the person who bought the car I lied about might get killed so I would have to be 100% honest.

I've been the one who bought the lemon. No cause I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I did.

I would trade it in to a dealership. They don't usually check them out first. I wouldn't feel bad. I got a one up on the sleezy car dealer lol.

Be honest. I HATE confrontation. The only way I know to avoid it is to be as honest as I can be.
