I was reading a article on Steven Spielberg..
Never seen so many shows, cartoons, movies, connected to one man. WOnder if there is anyone who can beat him on projects with his name connected to them.

I would think that Spielberg is the most prolific director in the modern era in that sense.
a director in the days of the old studio system (like John Ford) might have cranked out 100+ movies or so. (imdb lists 145 credits for him as a director, plus dozens of additional credits as a producer, a second AD, an actor and a stuntperson.) But for the modern hollywood industry I think Spielberg's got people beat. (he kind of "is" his own studio system in a way anyway.)
his name is a franchise in of itself, so it can get a project funded whether or not he really has much to do with the actual filmed product.
