I heard that many people who claim to be gay are actually bisexual. Is that true? I believe the community is even less accepting of bisexuals than Christians are of gay people. Therefore, many bisexuals do not admit to being so.What does the gay community offer that the rest of the world does, I mean the community itself?

i think that you'll find that the gay community is far more accepting of different types of sexuality...people of any sexual persuasion are generally welcomed more openly here.

The concept that most gays are actually bisexual is often attributed to the heterosexual community actually. Its based on the idea that Homosexuality is a choice and not a natural thing. Thus a person can't be simply gay, they must be bisexual and jsut pretending to be gay.

As far as I know within the homosexual community they have no problem with it. By its very nature the homosexual community tends to be more open and accepting of all kinds sexuality and points of view.

The "gay" community is much more accepting than you would think. We do not judge, we do not hate.

If anything, the gay community will help the bisexuals overcome their fears. The thing is that most gay people go through a phase where they may thing they are bi, I and some of my friends did at least.

i imagine it comes right down to spirituality. i understand we do not look a religious human beings now days, yet we as a human beings were that way because Africa. The youthful boys left their moms at particular a lengthy time period and lived between the boys to study the failings that in uncomplicated words men can coach boys.i do no longer say that being gay is spiritually incorrect, yet that has been the training because continuously and being taught something from adolescence as an offense antagonistic to God and nature is a effectual training to conquer. The more durable question is how do gay men settle for the actual shown reality that if what's been taught is actual and God does in reality call them an abomination, what then ? attempting to get the black community to settle for that existence form will likely not in any respect take position b/c if we do not count number on a lot, we trust there's a God.i'm basically expressing my very lowly opinion,I pass no judgements on anybody or their existence form, to me to each his own.

To be honest, I wonder if bisexuals are actually just gays that are ashamed to admit their full sexuality. I am only speaking for myself here as during my teens, I used to identify myself as bisexual but now, at 23, consider myself gay and am now comfortable with my sexuality.

As a gay guy, I'd never discriminate against bisexuals or even straight people. If someone actually likes both men and women, it's their business and nobody is to judge them. That's how I see it.

I've never had the gay community give me a hard time about being bisexual. They understand much better than straight people usually. Of course one of my lesbian friends always teases me and says that being bisexual is just a stepping stone to becoming fully gay. I don't believe that though. I just like who I like regardless of sex.

I guess they consider bisexuals "fence straddlers" and just not being able to commit to either side.

I'm bisexual and am comfortable with loving both men and women. I make it known when I meet a man that I also love women. I also make it known when I meet a woman that I also love men.

So far I haven't had a problem as long as I share this information with them in the very beginnings of our dealing with each other.

The gay community does not exist. A community cares for one another. If a gay man does not find me sexually attractive, then he will totally ignore me. Where is the 'community' in that? How can you base a community on who you share your bed with? Huh?

Gay people have many personal beliefs...as do straight people. I've met a few gay guys who say it's "impossible" that I'm "bi" and actually tell me I'm simply a "closeted" gay. Very disconcerning. On the other hand I've met gay dudes who are totally cool with my "bi" ness.

Personally I'm struggling with my chest hairs. I've decided to become an OTTER...but I'm not furry enough yet.

I remember a friend of mine did her degree project on this. She certainly believed that bisexual people were not accepted by the gay community.

The gay community really hasn't accepted bisexual really, they say that bi's are just greedy or are gay men in denial.
