I am trying to call someone in UK,but the call never works.What am I doing wrong please help me? It goes something like this +xxx+xx xxxxx xxxxx.

You need your international dialling code to 'get out' of whichever country you are dialling from, then 44 is the code for the UK. If your number has a 0 in the front, don't use that.

so if you had the number 01234 567890 you would dial your international call code then 441234 567890.

The code to phone someone in the UK is, 0044 then you leave out the first 0 of the phone number! For the example : 0044 7********* ! (Mobile) For a land line its the same thing! Good luck,hope you get chatting soon!!!

If you are calling from the USA then the international "get out" code to dial an international number is 001, not 00 as people above have said.

So you dial 001, then 44, then the phone number without the first 0.

Eg. 001 44 1234567890

The international dialing code is 0044 but you need to drop the 1st zero from the number you want.
E.G London number 0121-356383 would become 0044-356383, this is not a proper number but thats how to do it.

if you are ringing from outside the uk you need to dial 0044 and miss out the first 0 from the dialing code.if you are ringing a mobile dial 0044 miss out the first digit and then ring the number as usual. basicly just dial 0044 miss out the first no and dial the number .......hpoe that helps
